The Counterfeit Coins are an item used to complete Mocktropica.
Role on Mocktropica[]
After changing the time from "day" to "night" in the Poptropica HQ and going left, you will see a male Poptropican in black glasses and a navy blue hat and coat. When you talk to him, he will explain that he used to be a developer for Poptropica before he got fired by the new managers, and he is selling the Counterfeit Coins in order to get revenge. After you ask for the coins, he gives you some. You must give them to the focus tester in order to exit Main Street after changing the time back to "day".
Later, you use the coins to defeat the giant robot by throwing them at it.
