The Phonograph can be found on the roof of the Greek treasury in the time period of Ancient Greece (Delphi), 328 BC on Time Tangled Island. You must return it to Edison's Workshop, 1877, to fix that time period.

If you click on 'Play' when the phonograph is in your inventory, you can hear the words of Thomas Edison himself. This makes Time Tangled Island the first island with sound.
Instead of the word 'Play', the button on the item card used to simply have a right-facing triangle arrow on it.
